Friends of the Mission (FOM) was formed in November 1997 to support the activities of the Woodland Christian Mission, now known as Fourth & Hope in Woodland, CA. In March of 1999 we received federal 501c3 status as a nonprofit public benefit corporation.

Our work has grown to include the development and management of affordable housing for individuals, families, and youth in need of housing. Many of the people living in these affordable units have been clients of Fourth & Hope or Walter’s House drug treatment and recovery programs.
